Do you teach complete beginners?
Yes. If you are completely new to driving, we can start from the basics, take things steadily and build confidence before moving into busier roads.
Do you only teach in ST5?
Drive ST5 is based in Newcastle-under-Lyme and covers ST5 and nearby areas, but lessons will also move beyond familiar roads so you gain wider real-road experience.
Do you offer manual or automatic lessons?
At the moment, Drive ST5 offers manual lessons only. Passing in a manual car gives you a wider choice afterwards, as you can drive both manual and automatic cars.
Can you help with theory test preparation?
Yes. Theory is linked into practical lessons where useful, so signs, hazards, priorities and road rules make sense in real situations.
Can I buy lessons as a gift?
Yes. Gift bookings are available and can work well for birthdays, Christmas, university starters or someone getting back into driving.
Do you help nervous learners?
Yes. Lessons are calm, patient and structured around your pace, with clear feedback and no unnecessary pressure.
Do you cover Keele students?
Yes. Keele students are welcome, subject to availability and suitable pickup arrangements.
What is the app you use?
Total Drive is the free app used to keep lessons organised, including lesson reminders, progress records, payment history and reflective logs. It is available for all major mobile platforms.
What is your cancellation policy?
Lessons need at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange. Lessons cancelled later than this may still be charged.
How do I make an enquiry?
You can use the enquiry form, email Drive ST5 directly, or message on WhatsApp. Replies can take a few hours if Craig is on the road with a student.
